Featured Products not linking as a product to order in Dawn Theme

I have a “Featured Prints” section on my homepage (see attached photos).

But the products are static and cannot be clicked on so that they can be ordered.

In Themes → Customization there is a link attached to the product (see photo 3/3), so I don’t understand why I am unable to click on the product on the website to got to product description and order ability.

Please advise.

Hey, @WathArt !

You’ll need to enter a link label for a clickable link to appear on the columns of the multicolumn section of the Dawn theme. When you add a label it will appear underneath the description, as illustrated in the image below, and that is what will direct your customers to the product page.

If you wish to make the product image clickable, it’s best to add a Featured collection section instead. You can create a collection with only the three products you want to feature then link the collection to the Featured collection section. If you need a guide for this, you can refer to the steps below.

  1. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
  2. Click Customize beside the Dawn theme you’re working on to open the theme editor.
  3. Click Add section on the left sidebar.
  4. Click Featured collection.
  5. Click Select collection to link the appropriate collection, then click Select. You can configure the rest of the settings if necessary.
  6. Click Save.

Your website looks great! The images are high quality and they really bring out the vibrance of your art prints. While they beautifully showcase your products, I recommend resizing the images and making the dimensions consistent to give a clean and sleek look to your website. This will be more visually pleasing and appealing to visitors and customers.
