Feedback for my store

Hello dear Shopify community,

I recently launched my Shopify store, 24 Store GmbH, and would love to hear your feedback.

My goal is to make the store both visually appealing and user-friendly, and of course to increase sales. I would like to know:

What do you think of the design and navigation of my store?

Are there any elements that confuse you or that you would improve?

Do you have any tips on how I can increase the conversion rate and generate more sales?

Any constructive feedback is welcome—I want to learn and continuously improve my shop.

Thank you in advance for your support! :folded_hands:

Here is the link to my shop: www.24-store.ch

Best regards,

Patrick

Your hero CTA needs stronger contrast to stand out, and the menu has a few duplicate-feeling labels that add friction. Add quick badges (shipping, guarantees) near ATC to cut hesitation.

Hey @24storegmbh

I appreciate you asking for honest feedback because you need to hear this before you invest more time and money into this store. Right now you’ve essentially built an Amazon clone, and that’s going to be nearly impossible to succeed with as a new Shopify store.

The fundamental problem here is you’re trying to be everything to everyone, and that doesn’t work for a small independent store. You need a niche. You need to answer the question of why someone should buy from you.

Are you curating the best tech accessories? Specializing in Swiss products? Offering unique items people can’t find elsewhere? Providing exceptional customer service in a specific category? Right now there’s no compelling reason for anyone to choose your store, and no amount of design tweaking is going to fix that strategic problem.

Beyond that, let’s talk about your cart experience because even if you had a focused store with a clear value proposition, you’re still losing potential sales with how this is set up. When someone adds a product to their cart, you’re redirecting them to a separate cart page. That completely disrupts their shopping flow.

They were browsing your products, found something interesting, and then you yank them out of that experience and send them somewhere else. A lot of people will abandon right there because the friction is too high.

You need to implement a slider cart that opens right on the same page without taking people away from their browsing. This keeps them engaged and makes adding multiple items feel natural instead of disruptive. Once you have that slider cart working, add a progress bar showing how close they are to free shipping or a discount threshold.

When someone sees they’re twenty francs away from hitting that goal, they’ll look for another item to add. Without that visual incentive, they don’t even know the opportunity exists.

Use that cart space to show complementary products. Someone adds a phone charger, show them a charging cable or car adaptor that works with it. Someone grabs headphones, suggest a case or cable organizer.

These are natural pairings that make sense together, and you’re making it convenient for customers to see what else they might need without having to search through your entire unfocused catalog.

Here’s something that’ll save you money as you’re trying to figure this out. Don’t install separate apps for every cart feature you want. One app for the slider cart, another for upsells, another for progress bars, another for product recommendations. That approach gets expensive fast and you’ll be bleeding money on subscriptions before you’ve even made consistent sales.

Look into something like iCart that handles all your cart customization in one place. It’s more cost-effective and keeps your site running smoothly.

Hey @24storegmbh! Thanks for sharing your store link! I took a quick look at your store and here’s some constructive feedback with things I like + areas to improve.

Strong points

  • The overall visual design looks clean and modern (good job on that).
  • Navigation appears clear — categories are visible which helps visitors find things.
  • The brand name and domain are short and memorable — a plus.

Quick tips to increase conversion & sales

  • Feature a hero product or offer on homepage (e.g., “Top Deal of the Week” or “Customer Favorite”) to get visitors picking something instantly.
  • Highlight real customer reviews/testimonials (preferably with photos) — this dramatically increases trust.
  • Use urgency/scarcity if applicable (“Limited stock”, “Sale ends in 24 h”) to prompt action.
  • Offer a strong guarantee or unique value proposition (“30-day money back”, “Free 2-day shipping in… ”, etc) to reduce buying friction.
  • Conduct mobile-first testing: many visitors use mobile. Make sure site loads fast, UI is clear, checkout is smooth.
  • Consider retargeting visitors who looked but didn’t buy via email or ads — remind them of what they saw.

Hope this helps!

Hey Patrick,

Congrats on launching https://24-store.ch/ It looks like you’ve put a lot of effort into the design, and it’s coming along nicely.

Your store has a clean design which is great for a seamless user experience. It’s easy to navigate and the product images are high quality, making it visually appealing. And it’s quite straightforward, but I’d suggest grouping products into clear categories. If you’re selling different types of products, consider having a prominent menu that displays categories like ‘Best Sellers,’ ‘New Arrivals,’ or specific product types. It can make browsing easier for customers.

Elements to Improve

Product Pages Your product pages are clean, but adding more detailed descriptions and emphasizing key features will help. Make sure customers know why they should buy the product. And also, try adding trust signals like reviews, secure payment icons, and free shipping or return policies if applicable near the product description or buy button.
Call to Action Consider making your CTA buttons like Add to Cart more noticeable. Use a color that contrasts well with your background, so they stand out more.

Increase Conversion Rate & Generate Sales

Speed Optimization Since slow loading times can negatively impact conversions, make sure the page loads quickly. App like Website Speedy can help optimize images and code, making the site faster and improving the customer experience. Faster stores tend to have higher conversions.
Upsell and Cross sell Include related products on the product pages. You can show complementary products or accessories that encourage customers to purchase more.
Pop up Offers Try adding a simple pop up with an exclusive discount for first time visitors. It could encourage people to complete their purchase.
Retargeting Ads Use retargeting ads to bring back visitors who added products to the cart but didn’t check out. You can do this through Google Ads or Facebook.
Customer Reviews If you haven’t already, integrate product reviews. Potential customers trust peer reviews more than anything. A product review app like Product Reviews can help you collect and display reviews.

Optimizing for Mobile Make sure your site is fully mobile-responsive, especially since many users shop from their phones.

Hey Patrick, great job so far!!

Just had a quick look at the store and these are the first 3 things that came to mind:

  1. very close to amazon, which makes it easier to navigate / might help with building trust

  2. Duplicate product descriptions felt a bit weird; would only show them once

  3. Add to cart button and shop pay button could have the same width

Small nitpicks, overall it’s great and hope some of this is useful!

Hey Patrick, I took a look at your store. The design is clean and easy to follow. One thing that could noticeably improve conversions is giving shoppers clearer value on the product pages.

Right now each item is presented on its own, so adding simple bundles or “buy together” options can help a lot. It makes the offer feel stronger and usually increases both conversion rate and average order value.

Happy to share more ideas based on your catalog if u want to explore it.

Hi! I took a quick look at your store and saw a few areas that could be improved for a smoother user experience:
The main homepage message isn’t very clear.
Product pages could use a bit more detail.
Important info like policies isn’t easy to find.
Some spacing/layout parts on mobile look a little tight.

If you’d like, I can share a simple checklist that might help.

Hello @24storegmbh I agree with @Coding-with-Jan ‘s suggestion.

On the homepage Beliebte Produktkategorie section when I hover the icons does not looks good. Instead of add background color to the icons when we hover, it would be better to keep make the color background first to show the icons more greatly. Hope this is helpful.
