Feedback on My Updated Store and Advice on Product Images

Hi everyone,

I’ve made a lot of changes to my store recently and I hope it has improved. I would love to hear your feedback and any suggestions on what I can still improve.

One thing I’ve struggled with is the product images. On the product pages, when you click on a product, the images still look very similar to AliExpress or generic stock images. I’m wondering if there’s a way to modify them—maybe with AI tools like ChatGPT or other options—to make them look unique and more professional, without appearing like copy-paste images.

Also, I’d love your thoughts on my company’s logo and name. Do they work well for the brand, or would you suggest something different?

Any tips or resources on creating distinctive product images, or improving the overall store design and branding, would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi, great to see you improving your store

For the product images, you don’t need new photos—just better styling:

  • Replace backgrounds with clean, branded scenes

  • Keep lighting/colors consistent across all images

  • Add a few lifestyle shots (product in use)

  • Light editing (shadows, color grading) makes a big difference

AI can help, but it’s best for enhancing, not fully generating images (to keep them realistic).

For your logo and name, make sure they’re simple, memorable, and match your niche. Clean usually beats complex.

Hi @PeppePro02

Yes, it is noticeable that made some work and clear updates. But some issues are still there.

For images, yes, some are very similar to Ali Express, but also I do not think that some main features should be as text on the image but as separate sections on the product page. And to still repeat images in the product description .. So yes, try to get a clear image first, just the product, then think about using AI to add some background setting. ChatGPT is one, but there are a lot of other options to test. There are several apps I think, just for AI images, and you can usually test them for free, 20-25 images.

Your logo is so-so. I still do not see the About us page and not sure what R&D stands for, “Research & Development”?

And if you check my post from a month ago, some things still stand. Feedback online store - #7 by Laza_Binaery
Menu for me is nig issue, product page overall, images and description. And how 3 items is the “Most popular” option. Do people really buy 3 Wireless CarPlay Adapters all the time

I must advertise a bit, and you might find it useful and can try for free. It is our app Atomato Notifications & Upsell - Onsite notifications and upsells through a feed, not popups | Shopify App Store for different kinds of notifications, which helps communicate better with customers. Lead them to deals and important messages. Here is what it could look like on your store.

And you must have visited a dozen well-known tech online stores and you should have seen and recognized some things that look good and work for customers. And then try to implement it at your store.

Solution: appreciate, you have done almost things from your end but honestly, my impressions was not good on your store as customer, still you need to improve lots of things like ( logo section, hero images section, menu alignment- desktop and mobile, product discription, overall your store is not looks professional, may be you will struggle to set sales and most trusted customer.

Q2- the images still look very similar to AliExpress or generic stock images…

Solution : don’t worry about, it’s looks like Ali express, you can save your time and focus on visual presentation of product ( quality images, customer will understand when see the image, )

You should focus on solutions and describe In details.

If you have problems with aliexpress images, then you can use any AI tools like ChatGPT, but you have to invest more time on image optimisation part.. but financial solution is matter if any customer looking / searching.

Solution : recommend to choose the more professionally logo and should be mention the Name, if possibles. And always prefer the standard text and formatting.

Hey @PeppePro02 In a website show casing the products is not enoug. It’s also included to design a site professionality. Like setting up all pages including home page, product page, collection page, policies etc.

Upon checking your store you’ve used products as a featured product which leads to the not professionally look and also in your home page the images are on categories are cutting off as you can see the screen shoot

this is my hope review hope you like if this help full to you then don’t forget to like and mark as solution on it

you’re right that the AliExpress-style images are hurting you. customers have seen those exact same photos on 50 other stores so it instantly kills any sense of uniqueness. the good news is you don’t need to reshoot everything from scratch.

for AI tools specifically since you asked, we built one called Prodofoto that does exactly what you’re describing. you upload the basic product photo and it generates studio shots, lifestyle scenes, even on-model photos if it’s wearable. gives you up to 9 different images per generation in about 60 seconds. way faster than trying to prompt ChatGPT for this since it’s purpose-built for product photography. there’s a free tier so you can test it on a few products and see if the output works for your store.

The same blue tablet lol… don’t you ever get tired of seeing that thing?

Images still in the product description. No doubt this is the sync from your dropshipping. But why you don’t like images? no one is forcing you to do that ds garbage… if you don’t like it, do something else?

Hi @PeppePro02

The cart is where there’s a real opportunity to increase revenue without more traffic. You’re already showing bundles on the product pages which is smart but that bundle offer should be right inside the cart where the buying decision is actually being made.

Someone looking at a BOGO deal on the product page and then going to the cart and not seeing it reinforced loses that momentum. Volume discounts and urgency elements shown inside the cart at checkout are also worth testing, especially for electronics and gadgets where people are already thinking about value.

The slider cart is already there which is good. Add a free shipping progress bar inside it and make sure your cross-sells are working right there in the cart rather than only on product pages. Someone buying headphones should be seeing a compatible Bluetooth speaker or a car stereo accessory right there without having to go back and browse.

Don’t install multiple separate apps to build all of this out though. Something like iCart handles the bundles, progress bar, urgency elements and in-cart cross-sells all together without slowing your store down or adding unnecessary cost.

For the AliExpress-style images, the quickest fix is remove.bg to strip the background, then drop it onto a clean white or light grey in Canva. Takes under a minute per image and immediately makes the store look less like a dropship catalogue.

If you want to shoot your own photos without a studio, tape white poster board to a wall at an angle to create a seamless background, shoot near a window in natural light, and use portrait mode on your phone. For small electronics and accessories that setup gets you noticeably better results than supplier photos without any equipment cost.
