Feedback request on my Shopify store (UX, trust, mobile, checkout)

Hi Shopify Community,
I’m looking for honest, constructive feedback on my Shopify store. I’m currently focused on improving mobile user experience and conversion rate.

Store links:

I’d really appreciate feedback on:

  1. First impression (mobile): Is it instantly clear what the store sells and what the value proposition is?

  2. Navigation & structure: Is it easy to browse, filter, and find the right product? Anything confusing or distracting?

  3. Product page clarity: Do the product details (what you get, how it works, delivery expectations) feel complete and easy to understand?

  4. Trust & credibility: Does the store feel trustworthy? What would increase trust the most (content, layout, policies, proof, etc.)?

  5. Cart & checkout: Any friction, surprises, unclear steps, or issues on mobile?

  6. Design & messaging: What feels strong vs. cluttered (banners, offers, sections, popups)?

Quick questions:

  • What is the #1 reason you would not buy?

  • What is the one improvement you’d prioritize to increase conversions?

  • Rate trust and purchase confidence from 1–10.

Thank you in advance—direct critique is welcome.

@Nico28 while you mentioned you are focused on improving the mobile experience, it’s a good idea to also check how the site looks on desktop.

On the homepage this section has an odd alignment on desktop

First impression- Big red sections taking up the screen. Hurts the eyes.

Product page- Too much going on. Widget is very distracting.

Trust and credibility- That’s where you lost me. See identical images of other site:

Any tips for change the red one or widgets?

The problem is you go from hard and unpleasant to soft and lovely. Then back to hard.

Needs to flow…

I would get rid of the big block. It’s not needed. That information is already on product page.

The other 2 can go in the announcement bar. Depending on your theme, you can set several different texts there.l, and even have it scrolling from right to left.

done, hope corectly and better haha

I run an ecommerce store on the Shopify platform (knives category), so UX and conversion mainly matters to me. I’m sharing honest feedback for your website.

When we analyze it on mobile, it’s clear that you sell balloons and party decoration products, which is great. Yup, the branding gives a friendly and emotional feel.

It’s easy to navigate your website, but I have one suggestion for you; add filters based on occasion, color, and delivery time.

The product page is overall perfect

Hey @Nico28

Hey, thanks for sharing such a detailed brief. I checked the store mainly from a mobile point of view, and overall the first impression is solid. It’s clear what you sell and the products themselves make sense. Where I think you’re leaving the most money on the table is the cart experience, not so much the product pages or design.

You already have a slider cart, which is great, but right now it’s doing the bare minimum. You have a lot of relevant products in your store, yet once someone adds an item to the cart, you’re not really using that moment to show them anything else. This is usually one of the highest-intent moments in the whole journey. You could use the cart to suggest related products that go well together, or even simple add-ons that make sense with what they just added.

Another thing that would help is a progress bar in the cart. Showing customers how close they are to free shipping or an extra discount often nudges them to add one more item. On mobile especially, this works well because it gives clear direction without adding friction.

One thing I always recommend is not stacking multiple apps just to customize the cart. That can get expensive and messy fast. Using an all-in-one cart solution like iCart makes it easier to handle things like upsells, cross-sells, progress bars, and cart messaging in one place, without overcomplicating the setup.

If I had to prioritize one improvement for conversions, it would be fully optimizing the slider cart. You’re already halfway there, and with a few tweaks, it could have a noticeable impact on mobile conversions and average order value.

This one? Thanks for clear message

These are iCart’s basic settings, which include a progress bar, product upsell, and checkout button. Yup, they definitely help improve AOV and conversions. But for getting maximum results, you can also consider exit-intent popups, limited-time offers, personalized recommendations, and cart abandonment emails. All these things combined create a stronger effect and can significantly boost your sales and AOV.
