Hey Shopify Community,

I recently launched my store, MusttBuy.com and would love to get some honest feedback! I’m offering a variety of products, including fashion, LED lights, home essentials, and more. I’d appreciate any insights on the store’s design, user experience, and anything that could be improved to boost conversions. Looking forward to your thoughts—thanks in advance!

Hi @MusttBuy
From what I see, its hard to see your target audience. You’re featuring a yoga bra, swimsuit, and a slim fit dress all together. Then, you have blog posts about LED lights and kitchen gadgets. Are you selling clothes or home goods? Are you selling athletic wear or summer clothing?

My best advice would be to pick a style or season of clothing that you want to sell. Then, create an image with all the clothing together. Use an app like, Shoppable Image Hotspots to direct people to the specific products from the home page. This will improve the user experience and increase your chances of getting sales.

Hi @MusttBuy

Thanks for reaching out to the Shopify Community! I’m Donna from MooseDesk, your go-to Live Chat, WhatsApp and FAQ App.

I just happened to come across your post and took a look at your store — and wow, I’m genuinely impressed! The concept is super unique and the color palette instantly caught my eye. You can really tell how much love and thought you’ve poured into building this.

Since I’m always passionate about user experience and conversion design, I wanted to share a few ideas that might help inspire you to optimize the store even further :face_savoring_food:

1. Sticky Navigation

The website’s navigation menu disappears when users scroll down, forcing them to scroll all the way back up to access categories, the cart, or other key sections. This disrupts the browsing experience, especially on mobile, making it harder to navigate quickly.

=> So you could implement a sticky navigation bar that remains visible while scrolling will improve usability, reduce frustration, and enhance the overall shopping experience.

2. Revamp display in Sale Collection

In the sale section, the original price is currently displayed without enough emphasis. To create a stronger impact, make the original price strikethrough and display the discounted price in a bold, contrasting color.

This will draw attention to the savings and create a sense of urgency for customers. Additionally, consider using a larger font size for the sale price, and position it more prominently to highlight the discount. This design change can significantly enhance conversion rates by emphasizing the value customers are getting.

3. Customer Support System and FAQ page

You should implement a customer support system, such as a widget, to allow users to easily reach out with inquiries or requests. This instills confidence in potential buyers and reduces hesitation in making purchases.

For example:

Also, creating a FAQ page to address common questions about your store policies, shipping, orders, refunds, and returns is important. Clear communication helps manage customer expectations and prevents misunderstandings.

To address this, I recommend using MooseDesk, an app for creating unique FAQ pages for your customers. Besides helping you create your Help Center, we also provide a helpdesk/ticketing system for your customer support.

Since our app is now available for free, all current users will be considered as early-bird users and get to enjoy all our current features for free forever!

As an enthusiast in UX, I recommend implementing these changes to improve customer experience when scrolling through your store.

Thank you for reading. Wish you a nice day ahead!

The images on homepage take a quite long time to load completely, some users may have no enough patience to check all the details before finishing image loading. You can further check this part and take measures to let them load quickly or apply preload techniques, a kind reminder here.
