## AI-generated summary

Feedback on the faith-based athletic apparel store focuses on making the shop easier to browse, improving product information, and building a more distinctive brand. On mobile, the homepage’s opening screen lacks a clear shop button, while product listings take up nearly the full screen; reviewers recommend adding a prominent call to action and a compact product grid. Size charts are also missing or incomplete across apparel pages, despite many size variants.

Further recommendations include adding descriptive alt text to product images, renaming generic numbered product URLs, cleaning supplier-style copy, and correcting conflicting details about fabric, fit, and available sizes. Reviewers also suggest explaining the meaning behind the “Truth” tee design and improving the homepage’s search title and description. One commenter criticized the designs as generic and questioned claims about careful shipping and product quality because the store appears to use print-on-demand; that assumption was not confirmed. The discussion offers concrete improvements but no response, decisions, or resolution from the store owner.

Checked it on a phone. The first screen shows your slogan and an illustration but no product or shop button, so new visitors have to scroll to find out what you sell. I’d add a Shop button there. Your polo and jacket pages also have no size chart I could find, which matters for clothing.

Hope all is well.

First, your store is overly generic. If you’re going try to be successful, you need some originality and creativity.

Nothing about these seems even a little interesting or desirable.

No one wants to wear a giant square on their shirt, or some random words. You need to do major artwork and design prep.

This isn’t really true though, is it? It’s print on demand, right? That means you actually don’t ship any order, and you certainly don’t do it with care. And you cannot stand behind something you’ve never tested, seen, or touched. This is very misleading. I would be ashamed to do a faith based p.o.d. store and claim to “ship with care”. Do some soul searching. I think you are in the right place, early, to switch it up. There is plenty of cheap equipment that you could do this yourself. If I am mistaken, I do apologize. But it looks very much like you are only doing something like Printify, typical p.o.d. which has sub-par standards which you can’t possibly vouch for.

Just because you can doesn’t mean you should…

Hi, thanks for sharing the store, the faith and fitness angle is a clear idea and your policy and contact pages are all in place. Beyond what is already said, here are three things I could verify on the live store. First, all 121 product images across your 14 products have an empty alt text field in the products feed, so Google Images and screen readers get nothing. Adding a short description such as Chosen to Lift black rope cap front view to each main image is quick and helps search traffic. Second, only 3 of your 14 product descriptions mention sizing, and with up to 48 variants on some tees, shoppers need a size chart on every apparel page, since sizing doubt is a top reason clothing buyers hesitate. Third, your refund policy says return shipping is free with a prepaid label, but the shipping policy says everything is made to order. On items priced around $16 to $24 a free return label can wipe out your margin, so I would state clearly which cases qualify (wrong size, damaged or misprinted) and that made to order items are otherwise final. Happy to look deeper at the product pages if useful.

Hi @Chosentolift, others have covered the hero button, size charts and policies well, so here are two things I noticed while scrolling the homepage on my phone:

1. Each product takes up the whole mobile screen, so a visitor only sees one item per scroll and has to swipe a long way to compare tees, caps and tanks. A collection or product grid section set to 2 columns on mobile would let shoppers see several items at once, so the page feels more like a shop than a gallery.
2. The “Truth” tee design has a nice detail: the words on the back (Transparency, Righteousness, Understanding, Trials, Humility) spell TRUTH. Right now nothing on the homepage points that out. One or two lines next to it, and on its product page, explaining the meaning behind the design would give people a reason to choose your shirt over a generic one, and it fits the faith angle of your brand.

I’m a newer Shopify designer myself, so take this as one more set of eyes. Good luck with the launch!

Hey @Chosentolift, adding to the point above about the first screen, here are a few product-page fixes that will help with both trust and Google:

1. **Rename the numbered URLs.** Your tees live at `/products/unisex-t-shirt`, `-1`, `-2`, `-3`, so the link alone doesn’t say which shirt it is. In each product’s “Search engine listing” section, change the handle (e.g. `fire-line-tee`, `og-edition-tee`, `staple-tee`) and keep “Create a URL redirect” ticked. The store is new, so this is the cheapest time to do it.

2. **Remove the supplier text from descriptions.** Lines like “Blank product sourced from Nicaragua, Mexico, Honduras, or the US” (Fire Line) and the “Fit: Regular Neckline: Round Neck / O-Neck… Season: Spring / Summer… Elasticity: Slight Stretch” list (Seamless CTL) read like a fulfilment catalog, not a brand. Keep the useful facts (fabric weight, fit, care) as 4–5 clean bullets and lead with your mission line.

3. **Fix contradictions that cause returns:**

4. **Delete the second paragraph at the bottom of each product** (“Color, size, and everyday fit…”). It repeats the colors and sizes already listed above it.

5. **Small one:** the homepage meta description has doubled quotes (`""Shop Chosen to Lift…""`), and the homepage title tag is just “Chosen to Lift”. Something like “Chosen to Lift | Faith-Based Gym & Athletic Apparel” tells Google what you sell.

Strong name and mission. Making the product pages as clear as the message will help a lot.

Disclosure: I write product listings for small stores (AI-assisted, fact-checked by hand).
