Filter option like product type and brand missing from catalgue

Hello ,

In my theme, i dont see filter option like ‘product type’ and ‘brand’.. Only option can see are “Availability” and “Price”.

Can someone suggest how to bring “Product Type” and “Brand” on the left hand side bar.
