A merchant reported that product filter values (specifically size options) were not translating properly in the Translate & Adapt app. While product names translated correctly between Latvian and English, the filter options remained in Latvian regardless of language selection.
Resolution:
Shopify staff confirmed this was a known limitation and announced it was fixed. As of the update, both custom filter labels and filter values from the Search & Discovery app are now translatable.
Additional Issue:
Another user encountered a similar problem with Product Type filters not translating to Finnish. The workaround involves:
The original issue appears resolved, though Product Type translation still requires a metafield-based workaround.

I am looking to find a solution to this problem.
I have a website in two language - latvian (main) and english.
In the latvian version i have product size options with names 10,52 m (7 Sekcijas), but in the English version I have the options with names 10,52 m (7 Sections). Altho this is the case, when I change the language to English the Latvian options stay.
How can I change that?

Hi @PrintNStuff , to workaround you would need to add what you currently have as Product Type as a custom metafield. It’s duplication of work I’m afraid, but this is how you can solve. Metafields have full translation support, whereas Product Type does not.
