Having this same issue, customer pre-order items , she wanted a bigger size in one of the items and now it’s not editing at all. Please advise this fix.

Please fix this! I don’t even understand why this is an issue. I just want to edit an order per customer request. Extremely frustrating.

I had the same problem. Here’s what I did.

Remove the item that is incorrect. For me it was a pre-ordered item.
Update the order.
Add the new item.
