Fixing duplicate meta descriptions and title tags

I’m doing DIY SEO, and I couldn’t fix the duplicate meta descriptions and tags on all my website pages. I read about hreflang and tried to supply the code, but it seems not working. I’m in Canada, but my site is a dot com, so when I ran an audit, all the pages came in duplicate with 'en-us" on them. Please help. Thanks!

i used a product from HEXTOM. not sure if that will help . it was free… so i tried it.

Thanks, I checked the code and my theme (debut) doesn’t contain #1.
