Store URL: pals-medical-visuals.myshopify.com
First of all, thank you all for the advice - even if critical - it’s exactly what I needed to make this page and store more complete to include bundle deals.
If I could have some more seasoned people take a look at the store and see if it is moderately better.
I have reached out to several of the smaller clinics and urgent cares I have worked for in the past, and currently have some of these posters up in various different clinics throughout the US. Hoping to change how clinics and hospitals make exam rooms look, but the first step is making the Shopify site better.
Any advice is greatly appreciated!
Dear @Luke_Bauer
I have reviewed your website across three main pages: the homepage, collection page, and product page.
I believe the issue you need to improve immediately is the website interface. If you don’t have much time to customize it, you should use a premium theme.
The current interface is too simple and lacks the necessary layout and information. The images and text blocks are arranged irregularly, giving the impression that the website is still in a testing phase and that errors could occur.
Therefore, the first step is to consider using a professional theme to enhance the customer experience.
I hope this will be helpful to you.
Regards,
Eric from Shopplaza
You still don’t have a domain name. That’s step 1 in the ecommerce journey.
First visit is a 10% off popup. You don’t need this. If you get some customers then you can introduce this.
Hero image missing. It’s just the theme’s placeholder. Also you can’t read the text.
Where is the About Me/Us page? Homepage has a tiny bio, but you really need a dedicated page.
You need a Featured Product section before this. This has bigger images so people can see what the product is. Add 2 of them if you want. These tiny product cards are good for a collection page, but the homepage needs at least 1 Featured Product.
Footer has no information about you or your business. You need contact info, address, clinic associations, etc. This is a standard in any website you go to.
Fix these basic things before you do anything else. If you need to upgrade your theme like above suggestion, you should do so before you spend too much time customizing this one.

Thank you!
I’ll get on these changes asap.
Then it’s just hopefully knocking out more and more drawings.
Visually:
Button border radius is inconsistent:
Contact page misses contact info (which is present in Terms & Conditions)
Some padding should make it look better here:
Consistent alignment would make this section look better:
Also – text in image is not good both from the SEO and design points of view.
Hi there @Luke_Bauer my first and maybe most important thought is that the store looks and feels genuinely authentic. It helps how you provided personal details including your picture, educational background and credentials. My main suggestions now would be adding a video to the homepage gallery and adding the direct social media links for your store at the bottom of the homepage.
Thank you!
I took out the standard fonts in that layout or theme, and replaced it to make it look cleaner and more concise.
The old layout looked good on the editor, but way different when I clicked on the actual store.
Thanks!
Got the domain.
Got rid of the pop up.
If you hadn’t said anything, I honestly thought that placeholder image was what the AI designer helper wanted….so thanks!
I do medicine , not web design, well didn’t used to.
Made sure to do the rest of what you mentioned including quotes from my fellow providers who have these up already.
Question about the address, I just put the city and state, since I am creating these, but then printify actually creates and ships the item.
Is that okay? Or does it still seem deceiving?
Depending on how this goes after some of the local clinics see it, would you recommend forming an LLC or M corps or is that putting the cart before the horse?
You’re a professional. City, State is just ok… But, you obviously wouldn’t put just city, state for your professional practice would you? If you’re concerned about the publicity of your home address, well only you can be the judge of that. If you are publicly listed anyway, there’s really no reason to hide it here. No one is going to come hunt you down. But the assurance goes a long way. Many people operate their business from home. Some prefer not to divulge their address. Some use a virtual address. Up to you. But some gallery of actual medical facilities with the actual products on the walls in the rooms, will go a long way for credibility.
