Main issue: On a Shopify store using the Sense theme (https://www.itslucid.world/), the Terms & Conditions (T&C) page in the footer displays “About Us” content appended at the bottom.
Key observations:
Clicking the T&C link opens the correct page, but scrolling reveals duplicated “About Us” content at the end.
Editing the T&C page to remove that section also removes it from the About Us page, indicating shared content/template linkage.
What was checked/suspected:
Store owner reviewed code and found no explicit instruction for About Us content on the T&C page.
They suspect a navigation or template setup issue affecting header/footer menu pages.
Assistance offered:
A community member verified the link loads the T&C page correctly but did not see the underlying duplication issue initially.
They requested collaborator access to review the T&C page code to diagnose and remove the shared content.
Status:
No fix yet; investigation pending code review/collaborator access. Open questions include which template/section is shared between T&C and About Us causing the mirrored content.
Have a look at the T&C in the footer menu. For some reason, the “About Us” content is feeding into our T&C and I cannot understand why. Have checked the coding and there is no coding showing that content should even exist on the page. I’m wondering if it’s not something to do with the navigation setup for the Header and Footer menus.
Would appreciate some support from the community for finding a fix!
However, what I’m saying is if you scroll to the bottom of the T&C, you will notice the “About Us” content is feeding through at the bottom of the page.
If I manually edit this page through the page editor and delete this content from the T&C, it also deletes the content from the About Us.
In order to remove the “About Us” content from the Terms & Conditions page, I’ll need to review the code for your Terms & Conditions page. To assess the issue, I kindly request collaborator access.
