Force Static Header including Announcement & Utility Bar - Empire Theme 9.0.0

How can I stop the header, including the announcement and utility bar, from moving?

I would like it to be static on both desktop and mobile so that the entire header section is always showing when scrolling the page. Thank you.

Hi @thekenstar

Add the following to the “Layouts/theme.liquid” just before at the end of the file.

Hi @Van_Nguyen_GSG , thank you for that information. I tried it and now the announcement bar is static but the utility bar still moves and now it is on top of the announcement bar. Can we make both the announcement and utility bar static with the header and put them back in the order that they were:

Top: announcement bar

Bottom: utility bar

Replace the previous script with this.

@Van_Nguyen_GSG That code did force the announcement bar and utility bar to stay in place at the top but it causes other issues. On mobile, when you open the main menu the announcement bar hides the login at the top of the menu. Also, on desktop, the utility bar is still at the top above the announcement bar, it should be under the announcement bar, not above. Do you have a fix for these issues? If not, thats ok I will just revert to the way it was originally. Thank you.

@thekenstar try this:

@Van_Nguyen_GSG Wow! That code fixed all of those issue, thank you! I do see two new issues…

  • On mobile, in the Main Menu drawer, the phone number, “Prop Money Guide” link, social media links, and country/currency menu are all missing.

  • There is also an error when I go to the customize the theme section.

Please see the images attached.

@thekenstar
Have you tried the solution I provided on a unmodified version of the theme, as I am unable to replicate it. (see attached).

try adding this at the top of the script:
