Formatting Abandoned Cart Email so Product Images Fills Entire Column (instead of just half)

Hi,

I’m setting up an Abandoned Cart flow and rather than just have a small image of the product they abandoned on either the left or right side of the column, I’d like to fill the entire column with the image on desktop (much like it does on mobile).

I’ve turned off/hidden the product Title, Variants and Quantity as I’m going for a simple/clean look for the email. I’ve selected “None” for the “Image Style” and even if I select “Full width” for the spacing the image still only takes up half the column on desktop - I’d like it to take up the width of the entire column.

I essentially wan the mobile and desktop version to look the same.

Is there a way to do this?

@melaney - actually screenshot do not allow to check code, but looking at it looks like it is divided into 2 parts

left is image and right is text… is there any option to make left side 100%? if no auto option then need css only

No, unfortunately the only option if to select either “Left” or “Right” for the image:

Even if I hide the Title element it still only shows “Left” or “Right” Position options for the image:

@suyash1 how do I get the email code for you - when I click on “view in browser” the link is one from my person C drive on my computer and there’s no code, just the words unformatted without the images or links…

I tried to find the same “view in browser” link from the same email I received on my phone and it doesn’t exist.

I’m using the Shopify Email app for this if that helps too (not coding it in the backend)

@melaney - the screen from where you got the screenshot, is it on browser? if yes then can you please right click on image side and inspect element?

@melaney - do you have any field to set custom css?

No - there’s simply no way to add custom CSS to any part of the emails through the Shopify Email app (front end)… if there was I wouldn’t be here

@melaney - then unfortunately we do not have any option to make an edit, you will need to contact app developers only, if this is a paid app, they will help you immediately
