Free pilot: I’ll organize 3 open Shopify chargebacks into a structured evidence packet

I’m testing a manual chargeback evidence-packet service and I’m looking
for 3 Shopify merchants with a real open dispute.

This is not an app and I don’t need access to anyone’s Shopify account.

For the first 3 accepted cases, I’ll review the available evidence and
prepare:

  • a reason-specific evidence checklist
  • a dated timeline
  • a Merchant Review Copy showing missing or limited evidence
  • one organized Submission Packet

The merchant verifies every fact and submits the response manually.

The pilot is free in exchange for honest feedback. A future paid pilot
would be a one-time $49 service, but there is no payment for these first
three cases.

Best fit:

  • fraud/unrecognized or item-not-received
  • at least 5 days before the response deadline
  • some order, payment, tracking or customer-communication records available

No outcome guarantee and no Shopify password, card number, CVV or banking
credentials should ever be shared.

I created a fully synthetic example showing the format:

Happy to answer questions publicly here.

Hi — I came across your post about the free chargeback evidence-packet pilot. I’m exploring the same problem from a different angle: merchant verification rather than dispute response. I like that you kept it manual and access-free for the first three cases; that seems like the right way to learn before building anything.

Would you be open to swapping notes? I’m mainly curious about two things. First, what merchants actually said when the future $49 one-time price came up — whether that felt cheap for the time saved or whether the “no outcome guarantee” made it a harder sell. Second, what you decided to do after the three cases: keep it as a service, turn it into an app, or drop it.

Happy to share what I’ve been hearing from the verification side in return. No pitch, just comparing notes.
