Hi everyone,

It’s Annt here from Posstack. I’m sharing a free app (yes, 100% free) - Posstack Easy Content Builder - that you can use to add custom sections to your OS 2.0 theme quickly. No coding is needed.

The step is straightforward, and you can start with a prebuilt template that comes FREE.

Just select a template, add the sections. Then tweak the style and content, and you’re all set!

Here are sections and blocks you can use for free - provided by the app:

  • Multiple content blocks (with icons & text)

Adding a side note for your reference, all main sections on our app’s demo - which is the Dawn theme’s default homepage - were built with the Easy Content Builder. A few to name:

The Section title (above the fold):

Here we highlight the main heading with a tagline and brief introduction on an image background. You can add an icon or even a CTA button too.

The Features section:
A grid of content blocks with illustration images (you can replace the image with SVG or icon font and position it on top, right, left, or bottom vs. your text block). You can set the number of blocks per row based on the Desktop/tablet/mobile devices to meet your need.

An extra update:

Besides the Dawn theme, you can use the free sections (provided by the Easy Content Builder) on other free Shopify 2.0 themes, too: Craft, Refresh, Studio, and Crave.

In case you missed it, my team just pushed a major update to the Easy Content Builder yesterday. It brings a complete overhaul to the code base, an entirely new UI improvement, and new features.
