I have my store set to offer free shipping on orders over $35, and orders under that use calculated shipping. The problem is that the calculated shipping shows up as USPS First Class, and the free shipping shows up as “Standard Shipping,” and these show different lengths of time until delivery. Recently, I had a customer place an order over $35 and opt to pay shipping since it was showing a sooner delivery date than the free shipping even though either way the packages are shipped USPS First Class.
I see two solutions to this problem, and I don’t see a way to do either one. One would be to have the shipping options both listed as First Class so the customer knows they can get the same shipping for free. More ideally, I’d like to have the free shipping just automatically applied for orders over $35 (so not even show the paid shipping as an option.)
How can I go about solving this problem? Thanks in advance.
