Interesting approach. A lot of “performance optimized” Shopify sections still rely on older app embed patterns or external scripts, so native 2.0 compatibility is actually a bigger advantage than most merchants realize.
Especially with Horizon starting to push more modern architecture, lightweight sections that avoid unnecessary app overhead are probably going to matter even more going forward.
I’d be curious how you handled things like deferred loading, section rendering, or CLS behavior compared to the subscription based alternatives.
