From "Product #472" to real titles — how I cleaned up my dropshipping store in 2 hours

Started a dropshipping store with the default AliExpress titles.
Looked awful. Here’s what I did:

  1. Exported all 200 products from Shopify
  2. Ran them through an AI optimizer (used Product Information Optimizer
    — free tier gives 20/month, so I did it in batches of 20)
  3. For each product I got: 3 title options, SEO title, SEO description,
    5 bullet points, keyword list
  4. Picked the best titles, applied the SEO metadata
  5. Took 2 hours total for all 200 products

**Results after 2 weeks:**

  • Organic traffic up 40% (from Google SEO improvements)
  • Bounce rate down 15% (better titles = better expectations)
  • Sold 3 products I hadn’t sold before (better descriptions?)

Not saying this is a silver bullet, but cleaning up product data is
the highest-ROI thing you can do in an afternoon.

Anyone else done a catalog cleanup? What worked for you?

Good job. I have done something like this in the past as well and had a similar experience. However, after doing a few such rounds of optimization, I decided to get tired of optimizing the AliExpress product titles which took 20 days to ship. To name a few apps I’ve tried: Spocket, Dropshipper AI, Zendrop, Aliexpress.
