Issue: Order fulfillment shipment statuses (e.g., In Transit, Out for Delivery, Delivered) are not updating in Shopify. These statuses indicate shipping milestones on orders.
Context: The merchant uses a third-party tracking app (Parcel Panel) to push updates into Shopify. Updates have recently stopped appearing in Shopify.
Vendor feedback: Parcel Panel reports the fulfillments are updated on their end, suggesting the problem may be on Shopify’s side (per the merchant’s report).
Actions: A Shopify staff member requested store details and a specific affected order via direct message. The merchant has sent the requested information.
Status: Investigation in progress. No confirmed root cause or fix yet; uncertainty remains whether the issue lies with Shopify’s Fulfillment API or the integration pathway for tracking updates.
