Hello,

I put an order in at this shop on shopify called funville toys co about a week ago.

I tried to get on their site today and it states “they will be returning” and that the shop is shut down.

I haven’t recieved an email or anything stating they have shipped my package, but it does show that they took my payment the day of.

When I try to email them, it comes back as address not found, and that their phone number is no longer in service.
If these people are allowed to scam on here.
Their business should be removed because this is not okay.
Im wondering what we can do, now

I’m sorry to hear about your situation. There are a lot of scams these days. And that is not allowed, but people use this platform as it is easy to build and sell. That store domain is just 10 days old, so I guess they were running a lot of ads on social media. To report them use a

and the store should be closed and not like at the moment just password protected, so still active.

You should try to contact your bank and report fraud and if possible, to get the transaction stopped and get the money back.

i also put an order in at the same place & the same thing happened also.. we definitely been scammed sadly.

I put in a report with shopify for scam. A friend found them on tiktok and she did the same thing as well and ordered two of their bundles that they had going. They told her that her package would be send out december 20th, and she never got a shipping email or anything as well. We reported to our bank that it was a fraudulent charge, as for us, People should be made aware that they are scamming others. There is an actual Funville toys, but that one isn’t real, and they used shopify to make it look like they were a real shop.
I’m so sorry this happened to you. It’s sad how much people are willing to take from others who just want their kids to have a good christmas.

Oh no that is so heartbreaking to hear I just did this for my two children and was looking forward to something coming been waiting for a package and nothing showed up it took my order and took my money and I hope maybe they’re just backed up with some toys but it was expedited so there’s no reason that it should be taking this long it’s just upsetting that people are scamming people for Christmas
