Today all photos with a period in the filename now show up as missing/broken images in the Admin. They appear fine when published, but old photos (and new) now show as broken images in admin. Tried contacting support, but got brushed off telling me to use the online resizing tool to help in this process of renaming all of them.
Anyway, hopefully this helps someone else out there.
I had .heic files that I had brought into Photoshop and resaved as .jpgs, so in the process my file become “filename.heic.jpg” … which worked fine until today. Now something in the backend appears to be truncating it at .heic and leaving off the .jpg
