General questions about the right theme (Prestige vs. Symmetry vs. ?)

Topic summary

Dear all,

we have been researching themes and have now come up with two:

  • Prestige
  • Symmetry

We are missing the breadcrumbs in the Prestige theme. But we also don’t know if we would need an additional app anyway because of the structured data?

Also, does it look like the Symmetry theme is more flexible when it comes to designing product pages?

We would love to read about your experiences and opinions! :slightly_smiling_face:

Many thanks in advance.

Kind Regards

Markus

Hi @MarkusCalvin ,

The two themes you’ve selected, Prestige and Symmetry, are both great options, but there are a few differences between them.

  1. Prestige Theme:

    • Breadcrumbs: The Prestige theme doesn’t include breadcrumbs by default, but you can add them through custom coding. Regarding structured data, you may need an additional app to optimize it. Apps like JSON-LD for SEO or Structured Data apps can help enhance structured data.
  2. Symmetry Theme:

    • Flexibility in Design: Symmetry offers more flexibility when it comes to designing custom product pages. You get more control over the layout and design elements, which makes it a better option if you want unique product pages.

If improving structured data is a priority for you, an app might be needed, regardless of whether you choose Prestige or Symmetry.

Overall, both themes are good in their own ways, and it really depends on which one gives you the flexibility and features you need.

Thank you very much for your help, very much appreciated! :slightly_smiling_face:

I think I will check out an app for the structured data and will play around with the Symmetry Theme. :slightly_smiling_face:
