I am trying to generate an API key. (to sync my Shopify to DSCO)
Was directed to do this…
From your Shopify admin, go to Apps.
Click Manage private apps, near the bottom of the page.
Click Create new private app.
…
But “Manage Private Apps” is not displayed.
Can you help?

I believe “Private Apps” can no longer be created since January 2022.
You’ll need to create “Custom Apps” instead: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/apps/custom-apps#enable-custom-app-development-from-the-shopify-admin
Once you’ve created a Custom App, you’ll see a tab to retrieve the API credentials:
