Just found out Genie Inventory is officially shutting down on August 31, 2025 (they’re merging with Doss). If you’ve been using Genie to manage bundles, POs, or syncing, this kinda sucks.
I’ve been looking around for replacements and figured I’d share a few options I’m testing or have seen recommended by others:
1. Sumtracker
Great for small to medium-sized Shopify and even multichannel sellers. Handles real-time sync, bundles, purchase orders, and multi-location inventory without the bloat. It has easy-to-use UI, overall it’s a must-try app.
2. Inventory Planner by Sage
Great if you want demand forecasting + replenishment suggestions. Works well with Shopify and other channels, but it’s more about planning than execution.
3. Cogsy
Focuses on forecasting + operational insights. Not a full inventory system but helpful if you want to make better restocking decisions using sales velocity and lead times.
4. Trunk
Really fast and simple bundling and multi-channel syncing. Doesn’t have PO or advanced inventory logic, but great if you only need syncing + bundles.
5. Craftybase
Built for handmade/small batch brands. Includes raw material tracking, COGS, and compliance. More niche, but useful if you’re making your own products.

You may also want to take a look at Inventory Sync GoGo. It’s particularly useful if you need to keep inventory synchronized across duplicate products, multiple locations, or even multiple Shopify stores. It supports real-time inventory updates and can help automate many of the workflows that merchants previously managed manually.
Might be worth checking out depending on your specific use case.
