I would like to offer physical gift cards and wanted to know if there was a way to generate a list of working codes that I can print on the cards that will work online? I know that you can create physical gift cards within Shopify but they are expensive. So ideally, I’d be able to generate 100 codes that I can then supply to my printer. Any ideas?

It is understood that adding the Shopify gift cards is a bit expensive deal which will not serve the purpose. Instead, you may build a WordPress websites with the best WP Coupon Plugins. And if you want to integrate a WordPress website with Shopify, the steps are available online and there are different YouTube videos also to guide you.
Once you built the coupon code for your WordPress website and integrated with the Shopify store, use that code in the printed material. It will save your plenty of costs.

The provided method is easier for you and it will not take too much time to build a WordPress website. But still, if you want to customize codes and upload on Shopify, then it will be expensive for you. With the help of WordPress you can save a lot and use that budget into your marketing expenses.
Yes, it can be done, there are apps that can do this, but it is not part of Shopify native features at least on the basic plan.
