I have just purchased a new theme as I am revamping my website and I was previously using third party apps to write blog posts and change the layout of my blog.
I actually have uninstalled those apps as I like the default layout of the blog posts, blog block and blog page but I do not know how to have it apply and look like how it looks on the Demo store from the Shopify Theme.
Anyone can help me on telling me how to basically reset all this to have the same look and structure as the default theme I just bought?
There might still be app files in your theme if an old layout is still appearing in your theme. Sometimes files from an app still live in your theme files even though you remove the app.
You might need to start with a fresh theme so that you can use the old blog layout that you liked. Alternatively, you could search through every file in your theme files to find any reference to the old app. The app developer might also provide a service to help you remove the unwanted files.
I had installed a bunch of apps and its been some time and I don’t recall necessarily which app would affect the design of the blog.
Why shall it affect its design on my new theme though?
Hi Zqdo, any feedback or help would be appreciated. I have deleted all Third party apps that were customizing my blog layout or page layout yet i dont seem to have the default blog layout and article layout.
