Get off of shopify shipping if you need insurance....

It’s infurating how many hoops you have to jump through to get money back. If you are considering shopify and have breakables then consdiering setting up your own insurnace and shipping. SHopify has no interest in you geting a claim. What a ■■■■■■ service. Without how much we pay you think it could be better.

LOOK at this thread, we submitted the same info over and over. Its a scam. Shame on shopify.

EVERYTIME we upload docs or got our customer to sing the affidavit they woudl say invalid, more items needed. THese days witbh how bad shipping has gotten, this is unnaccatble to make us jump through hoops. USPS and UPS are one click and done.

You can protect the orders you ship by buying up to 5000 USD of insurance coverage. You can add shipping insurance and file your claims directly from the Shopify admin. Shipsurance is the insurance administrator for coverage that you buy through Shopify Shipping. Because certain conditions apply, you should check to make sure that the products you ship are eligible for coverage.

Yes, very disappointing. We were told that they will not cover any packages that have branding on the package. If your logo or company name is on the box, fuhgedaboudit.
