Hey all, I am trying to get a notification sent to our main account email whenever an item is restocked (either from a direct restock in the order or when cancelling an order). The reason is that when a customer purchases an item we prepare to fulfill it. But if the order is cancelled / returned then we need to restock the item and put it back in storage. I am trying to create a notification to let our team know about it.
Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I’d be happy to provide some assistance with this request, to ensure it gets resolved.
To achieve this, I’d recommend checking out the Shopify App Store. We have various apps available that may allow you to complete this. For ease, I’ve gone ahead and made a few suggestions listed below that you can look into:
As you are looking for an app with specific features, I’d recommend getting in touch with the app developers directly. They will be able to provide clarification on an app’s capabilities and customizations to confirm whether or not the app will fit your shop’s needs. To get in contact with an app developer, you can head to the Shopify App Store and select Support > Send A Message.
Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
Hi @Remoov_Main , I see you’re looking for a way to get notified when items need to be restocked or orders are cancelled. This will help you stay on top of inventory and prepare fulfillment plans accordingly.
With the app, you can set custom reorder thresholds so that as soon as a product hits a low inventory level, you and your vendor get an email notification to restock. You can tailor the alerts based on product details like location, variant, vendor, collection, etc. This ensures you never unexpectedly run out of stock.
You can also set maximum -minimum stock levels within the app. It will calculate optimal reorder amounts based on those levels and the sales velocity of each product. Plus, Bee forecasts future stock using historical sales patterns. This lets you dynamically adjust low stock thresholds to match projected demand.
Let me know if you need any other details on how the app works. I’m happy to explain more about the features and how it can help stay on top of your inventory. Just let me know!
