Hello everyone, I have a shopify store shahadah.co . I also have a boutique in Montreal, Canada.
As my website is fairly new and has almost no reviews. How can I leverage my boutique sales and reviews and add them to my website? Is there a way to do that?
Thank you in advance and happy holidays.
Yes you can integrate your Google Reviews into your website. You can also do a promotion to give your local customers a discount in exchange for a review on your website. Or just ask them to leave a review.
It’s mainly done through apps by you preparing your info into a formatted CSV those apps will accept.
Without an app you can use metaobjects, and or the webpages feature, and or try generating a custom review section using “AI” in the theme editor to generate sections.
Though for bulk data again you’d want to use a data import app to bring the data in from a CSV/spreadsheet
Hi @indianstyles ,
Yes, you can use your boutique reviews on your Shopify site.
How to do it:
1. Use a review app that allows manual review import
Apps like Judge.me, Loox, Stamped, Yotpo let you add your in-store reviews manually (text, stars, photos).
2. Show your Google Business reviews
Use a Google Reviews widget to display your boutique’s Google ratings on your site.
3. Add a small “Testimonials” section
Show real customer quotes from your physical store to build trust quickly.
These three options are the easiest way to leverage your boutique’s offline reviews online.
You can definitely leverage your boutique’s existing customers to build trust on your online store you just need a way to collect or import those offline reviews into Shopify.
Here are a few approaches:
1. Use a Reviews App That Supports Manual or Imported Reviews
Most review apps allow you to manually add reviews from customers who bought in-store. Popular options:
Within these apps, you can:
This is the simplest way to bring your boutique reviews online.
2. Ask In-Store Customers to Leave Reviews on Your Website
Place a QR code at checkout linking to:
Customers who bought in the boutique can quickly leave feedback on your online store.
3. Email/SMS Past Boutique Customers (If You Have Their Permission)
If you already collect emails or phone numbers in your boutique, you can send a follow-up message asking them to review the product on your website.
Make sure you have consent for marketing/contact before doing this.
4. Use Shopify POS + Your Review App
If you use Shopify POS in your boutique, many review apps can automatically send review requests after a POS purchase — just like they do online.
This will help you gather new reviews from both channels automatically.
5. Add a “Testimonials” or “Customer Feedback” Section
If you have general boutique feedback (not product-specific), you can create:
These can be added manually and still help build trust for a new store.

Hey @indianstyles! Yes, you can absolutely use your boutique’s customer reviews on your Shopify website. The easiest way is to install a reviews app like Loox, or Stamped, which all allow manual review entry — so you can add real feedback from your in-store customers directly to your product pages.
You can also import Google or Facebook reviews using these apps, or display them on your homepage for social proof. If you use Shopify POS, you can even send review requests to in-store buyers automatically.
As long as the reviews are real, this is completely allowed and very effective for new online stores.
