Hi, I’m facing an issue with one of my online stores for a client: https://parcilsafety.com/

My client and several people from their team have faced this issue where after some time of inactivity (2 to 3 minutes) the site will automatically re-direct you to the checkout page when you have something in your cart. When you don’t have anything in your cart, they will try to redirect you to the checkout but then quickly redirect you to the home page since you had nothing in the cart.

I’ve tried to review the code for setTimeouts or weird plugins but I’m having difficulties finding the issue.

Steps to replicate the issue:

  1. Add some items to your cart

  2. Got to any products page

  3. Wait a couple of minutes without doing anything on the website

  4. You should be redirected to the checkout page

Your app “rebuy cart” is doing the redirection. When this countdown timer reaches 0 is when you get redirected.

Do you think that I need to disable the plugin or do you know if there’s a way to disable that behaviour?

I would check the settings on the plugin/app. I am not sure about that one, I could only imagine they would allow you to disable that with out uninstalling.

That specific plugin I am not familiar with.
