Anyone can claim to be “an expert” regardless of their status or training. You want to check the Partner Directory to find someone who is best for your business and knows Shopify. Partners and developers can take courses through Shopify Academy, but they are not certified by us in any other way. You’ll want to make sure your thoroughly vet anyone you add to your store. We have a great resource here that can help.
