I’m trying to make a cancellation invoice/notification and the customer would like to show not only the total amount refunded but also how much of that refund amount is being refunded for shipping costs. This also would impact how I would need to display tax.
Is there any way to get this information with liquid for an order that’s been canceled and therefore has some refund transactions on it? I am able to get a list of refund transactions that have been made for an order but the problem is that there is no way to know how much of that refund amount is covering shipping costs versus the cost of the item.
When you make a refund through the admin, you specify how much you are refunding for shipping and how much you are refunding for the item itself. Despite that, I don’t see any way to access that information with liquid. Seems like a pretty big oversight if its just not possible.
