Gift Aid Declaration in backend created orders

Hello,

In the online shop when creating an order we have added the gift aid declaration, but when creating an order via the Shopify backend functionality it is not possible to set the Gift Aid as Yes. Could you please let me know if this is a configuration issue or how it could be implemented and how the Gift Aid = Yes could be exported from Shopify?

All the instructions I can find for this are based on liquid templates, but my theme uses JSON for the product templates.
