I hope this isn’t one of those questions that is asked all the time because I could not finding anything in my searching.
I am wondering if there are apps, sites or other points of connection for small makers to connect with those looking to sell products? Places that are more commonly known (Faire comes to mind) tend to want makers that do higher volumes, but is there anything like that for smaller/unique/specialized makers? Thanks!
If I were you, I’d be interested in thematic groups on social media.
I would also recommend Etsy and Slack communities since there are many different ones, and you might be able to find what you’re looking for. Good luck!

You can do this by helping onboard those smaller creators to be dropshipping suppliers on apps, and then connect to those apps to sell their products. I’ve shared some apps that do this below:
All of these apps will allow you to connect as a retailer and yourself, as well as other merchants, can start to import and sell those products.
Are you looking to connect them specifically to your store, or can the suppliers connect with other merchants as well?
Thanks for the response. I’m wondering if you could give me more info though. I’m in many groups on social media with other myself but have never come across what I’m looking for other than the bigger sites I mentioned.
Thank you I will definitely look into those. Even though I have a Shopify shop, I am one of those small makers and looking to expand my product distribution. I thought I must not be the only Shopify user who makes their own products, rather than purchasing or drop shipping, and thought there might be others like myself who’d like to find new ways to distribute their products too.
That makes sense! There are plenty of Shopify makers, and I’m sure questions like yours will be relevant to them too.
I just wanted to add to the advice above: If you’re looking to try to sell your inventory to other sellers, it’s always wise to have a clear idea of how much inventory you can provide as an individual maker. If you are in a position to go wholesale, you could think about offering a wholesale discount on your store that you provide to sellers interested in buying your products.
