I added the following Google 4 Analytics code to theme.liquid:

It’s collecting data and working fine.

I noticed this section in our site’s preferences:

  • What will we gain by setting this up, (via this section in the preferences area,) for our site?

  • If we set this up, will it be redundant, compared to the current code snippet?

  • If redundant, but better, I can remove the header code. How can I make sure that doing so will have a minimal influence on our mobile page load speeds?
