Google Ads Information Incorrect

Topic summary

Main issue: Delivery prediction shown on Google Shopping ads is incorrect and not reflecting Shopify’s updated settings (Next Day/Express, 1–3 days). The requester is open to either fixing the sync or manually editing the displayed text.

Key guidance: Accurate arrival times on Google require Shipping Data Verification in Google Merchant Center (GMC), which relies on historical sales data to validate handling and transit times. A link and video were provided for the process.

Roadblock: The requester cannot find the option to add shipping information. Screenshots indicate the missing feature in their GMC view.

Clarification: The Shipping Data Verification feature is not available in “GMC Next.” To proceed, they must revert to “GMC Classic,” where the feature exists.

Status and next steps: No resolution confirmed. Action items are to switch back to GMC Classic and submit Shipping Data Verification. No method to directly override or edit the delivery text in GMC Next was provided. Dependencies include having sufficient historical sales data. Screenshots are supportive but not required to understand the issue.

Hello, I am having some trouble updating the data for the delivery prediction shown on a google shopping ad. The delivery date shown is incorrect, i have updated the info in shopify which shows Next Day / Express which is max 1 - 3 days, however this does not seem to be pulling through to google. Please could someone advise what I am doing wrong, and or how to fix this issue. I would be happy with a solution where we can simply update this text to say something different.

If you want to show more accurate arrival times, you need to submit shopping verification, ie historical sales data.

You can do so here: https://merchants.google.com/mc/shipping/dataverification/

Hi Emmanuel, I have just tried to give this a go and I do not seem to have the option to add additional shipping information. Do you have any advice to help here? I have attached a screenshot for reference.

GMC Next does not have this feature, and you need to revert to GMC Classic in this case.
