I am having endless problems with google analytics which I won’t start to go into but I noticed the exact same thing - that in GA4 there appears to be no way to see the total revenue figure (all the various revenue figues in GA4 are the same - ie product cost only).
I believe that the shopify tags are set up incorrectly but I cannot get anyone at shopify to take any interest - they just refer you to google analyics help - and google say it’s down to the tags, so it’s shopify’s issue.
I’m surprised not to see more complaints about this though because it makes comparing historic data impossible as I can’t compare like with like - which is even more problematic when trying to analyse performance of marketing campaigns, ads etc. I’m also experiencing huge discrepancies in data in GA compared to shopify in multiple stores since May - and when i am looking at a report of the transactions - it’s difficult to cross refer because i can’t use the order values as shopify and google don’t match, and also because shopify also unhelpfully sends checkout ID instead of order ID for the transaction more often than not.
