Hi,
I noticed that when customers place an order from a safari browser, google analytics is not showing the ecommerce conversion data.
I did some test orders myself. I placed an order from Chrome, and I can see the “thank you page” in the conversion. Then I placed an order on my iPad and I don’t see this conversion.
Safari on my iPad also showed that it blocked GA along with some other trackings.
This means that I can’t see users which order from safari. Does everyone else has this problem and how can I solve this?
Hi @gueston ,
I can see here that Apple has upgraded its privacy policy and made its users confused. But actually based on this doc that I have found Does Safari block Google Analytics? And Apple’s privacy updates indicate that Safari does not block Google Analytics by default, it’s the 3rd party cookies being blocked, you may also follow that link to know more information!
My best suggestion would be to contact Apple support since they have more in-depth knowledge on this one.
I hope this helps!
