Greetings all

I am having some problem with Google Console search to check my submission of my site map I have still Cant not fetch. note I have done this submission of my site map on the Feb 6, 8 and last night on 12 of feb

I have 2 pics show

Hello @tazgma311 Seems like you are still using Shopify subdomain as your primary store domain. Google usually cannot fetch sitemaps from the default .myshopify.com URL unless that exact domain is verified in Google Search Console.

To fix the issue use your custom domain that you must have verified in Google Search Console and then submit your sitemap. For example: https://yourstore.com/sitemap.xml , do replace your custom domain name from the URL.

Based on what you’ve shared, this looks like a common sitemap fetch issue that’s usually caused by a small setup mismatch or Google not being able to access the correct version of your site.

Since you’ve already tried submitting it a few times, I’d go through these quick checks:

  1. Check and fix sitemap URL
    Make sure you’re submitting something like: https://yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml
    Open it in your browser - if it doesn’t load properly, fix this first.

Also, make sure you’re submitting your main domain sitemap (not the .myshopify.com URL), as that can sometimes cause fetch errors.

  1. Make sure your site is accessible
  • Disable password protection
  • Check robots.txt and remove any Disallow:/ if present
  1. Fix property mismatch (very common)
    Ensure the sitemap URL matches your Search Console property exactly:
  • https vs http
  • www vs non-www

If not, add the correct property and resubmit the sitemap there.

  1. Re-submit once after fixes
    After correcting the above:
  • Remove the old sitemap
  • Submit again once
  • Then wait 24-72 hours (avoid repeated submissions)

Once the sitemap is submitted with the correct domain setup, this usually resolves within a day or two.
