I’m having trouble with a Google Font I’d like to use for headers. For some reason the font is only working on Mac OS / Safari and isn’t working on chrome or edge. I’ve tried to follow a number of online tutorials and still having no luck. Please let me know if we can connect to try to resolve this issue asap…so frustrating. I feel like Shopify should have this issue pretty easily solveable…
Hi @OOSODrinksCo ,
This is Theodore from PageFly - Shopify Page Builder App.
Google Font not working on all browsers in your Shopify store? Here’s what could be wrong:
- Browser Cache: Clear cache and hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows/Chrome, Cmd+Option+E on Mac/Safari).
- Font Variant: Double-check you’re using the correct weight and style from Google Fonts.
- CSS Code Errors: Review your code for typos or errors referencing the font.
Troubleshooting Tips:
- Test in Incognito Mode: Rule out browser extension conflicts.
- Inspect Element: Check browser developer tools for errors loading the font.
- Consider Alternatives: Try a different Google Font with better browser compatibility.
Best regards,
Theodore | PageFly
Thanks. Unfortunately I’ve tried all of this. It’s also hard to believe that changing the font is the best solution but thank you for the advice.
Share a link to your storefront (preview link or storefront password if one is set).
