Google Mearchant - "unable to add to cart"

Hi,

I am using Google shopping ads. Recently, in the Google Merchant Account, one issue appeared.

"There was a problem identified with the purchase methods on your online store. Update your online store to provide a better purchase experience for customers.

Make sure your products meet the checkout requirements

  • The online store lacks a functioning Buy button
  • The product page is not loading properly or leads to the online store’s homepage
  • The advertised or listed product isn’t available on your online store"

I have discussed with Google more than 10 times about this, they state that they are unable to press the “add to cart” button. I have discussed this with Shopify support as well, but they were not able to find the issue, as from their side is working properly. I have discussed with the theme developer, same situation, works fine for them. It works fine for any of our customers including us. It is just Google who sees this “issue”. I have contacted Shopify experts as well, but they were not able to help me, as it worked fine from their end.

Do you have any recommendations?

Make sure to disable anything that modifies the website based on IP, such as your currency conversion. This will prevent foreign users from using yoru website as normal.

IP based modifications are not allowed on Google Shopping.

Make sure you add a cart button in the checkout, a user must be able to go back to the cart after going to the checkout if they want to.
