Trying to connect my Shopify account with Google Merchant Center however the merchant center account number doesn’t show in the dropdown. The merchant center account is set up, I only need to create a feed. I am using the same email in Shopify as with Merchant Center
Try to disconnect and connect again.

I recommend you to relink again your Shopify Account with Google Merchant Center.
Here are some recap steps you can follow to relink the account:

Click the “tools icon” in your Merchant Center Account, then click Linked accounts under “settings”.

Pick Google Ads

Under “other Google Ads accounts” click it and enter the Google Ads user ID of the account you want to link

Send link request.
if your account keep showing any problem after trying this, then go and write to support, they will help you with the solution!

For anyone running into the same issue, it is due to having a Master Merchant Centre account, i.e. having multiple accounts in one MC account. Like with Google Ads MMC account. I’m just setting up a new account now and can’t believe is still hasn’t been resolved after so many years. I have to give my personal email access to Shopify and MC in order to link the two.
