We are having a problem where our prices from our website are not updating correctly on Google merchant center. It’s affecting nearly half of our items. When I click on the example products, the “Value in feed” is correct but the “Value in website” is not correct at all. This has been a persistent error for weeks now and we haven’t been able to fix it. Does anyone know how to get this corrected? We use the Google and YouTube app from Shopify. Thank you!
Hmm not exactly sure what’s going on here but I’d be happy to do some free troubleshooting if you wanted to give me access. If there is something that could be fixed via automation, I should be able to fix it with a workflow with our app mesa. I’ve done a little bit of work around generating google shopping feeds.
This is related to structured data, and or opengraph.
Make sure that the structured data information is correct, you can test the landing page URL using: https://search.google.com/test/rich-results
To test opengraph, right click on your landing page and view source, then search for og:price make sure this is correct.
Hi!
Sometimes this may happen if you have several product schema markups on the page and they conflict with each other. In this case, you need to remove all schemas except one and make sure that it is set correctly.
