Google Merchant Center - Misrepresentation Help

Hoping to get some help for my new Shopify store - https://www.amayaworld.com

I have been flagged for misrepresentation in the Google Merchant Center. I have requested a review two times and have been rejected both times. This is going to be my third try, and I am really hoping to solve this issue.

Could someone please check my website and let me know what I need to do?

Here are things I have already done –

  1. Business contact details are on all policy pages as well as in the footer.
  2. Links to all policy pages are in the footer.
  3. All products as well as photos have unique names, (all SEO guidelines have been followed)
  4. I have uploaded all my business documents to Google.
  5. My business name is on my merchant center account, under my personal info.
  6. There are no product info issues that are flagged by Google on Merchant center.

The default robots.txt created by Shopify was initially blocking Google bots from crawling my policy pages. I modified robots.txt to provide Google bots access to all the pages on my website. Google has not crawled these policy pages yet (it’s been ten days since I put in a page indexing request after modifying the robots.txt). Should I wait for Google to index the policy pages before requesting another review?

There are multiple businesses at the same exact address, that will send mixed signals to Google. Generally it should be 1 address = 1 business.

Hi,

It’s difficult to look at the website and predict the misrepresentation errors. Instead, review the following guidelines to see if you have met the requirements.

  • Follow Merchant Center Guidelines: Comply with policies on product availability, supported languages, transparent returns/refunds, secure data collection, and website requirements.
  • Product Data Specification: Format product information accurately, including detailed attributes like title, description, price, and availability, for better matching with user queries.
  • Adhere to Shopping Ads Policies: Avoid prohibited content such as counterfeit goods, dangerous items, and inappropriate materials. Ensure ads are professional and lead to relevant landing pages. Visit this link for more information on shopping ad policies.
  • Maintain Editorial and Professional Standards: Use correct spelling, grammar, and formatting. Avoid excessive punctuation or gimmicky characters. Ensure your website is functional with clear contact and policy details. Visit this link for more information
  • Build Trust with Customers: Provide accurate business details, link relevant platforms, verify your Google Business Profile, and implement SEO best practices to boost credibility and online presence. Visit this link for more information.
