Google Merchant Center Missing value [tax]

Hi I added USA as a target country to my Google Merchant Center (GMC) but i get this error for all my items:

Missing value [tax]

I do not have nexus in USA so i do not charge any taxes this is reflected on my shopify settings however still getting this error. I am located in Canada and do not have any presence in USA all my goods ship from Canada and again i do not have nexus set up with any counties states or regions.

I need to know how to fix this issue and further more any issues i can face at a later date.

To resolve the issue, go to Google Merchant Center > top right corner > gear icon > tax settings > here disable all tax settings, or set it at 0%

Hi EmmanuelFlossie, I will never forget your name!

GMC > top right corner > gear icon > tax settings > already was disabled. shopify side is set to NOT collected and all within the liability thresholds. The error is still showing. Do you think i may have to enable all states and add 0%?

Also what will reprocessing the feed do ?

I have the same issue but I cannot see the option in GMC > top right corner > gear icon > tax settings
Maybe that’s from an old GMC design?
