Google Merchant Center products nearly Impossible approval

Last month I found my Google Merchant products were NOT Showing because my products didn’t have a weight variable. So I added weight to all products. They were approved and showing. Then a day or two later, I get Another message from Google that my product have been REMOVED and that I had to complete an Identity Verification. SO I went through the Verification process including uploading proof of business ownership and my ID (Driver’s License). After a few days Google respond sand says my Verification failed because the ID image was not adequate and may be too blurry , dark ,etc. They never give you the exact reason. So I took a MUCH larger High Resolution image of the License and uploaded it again. A Few days later, Google sends me a Copy of the same message, that the ID image was not good enough. I tried again, same Rejection Response.

So it appears Google is not going to approve my Merchant Center products no matter what I do.

Anyone else experience this issue?

I experience the about the same situation.

Tired of and disappointed by Google’s problem-solving responses.

We’re experiencing something similar. Our entire store has been deactivated for “misrepresentation issues”. We’re finding it difficult to tease out what the actual issues are. Also, several things I have edited and completed(as near as I can tell) are still showing as incomplete (most notable return info).

I’m going through and fixing everything I can possibly find, then I’ll do a re-review, but being able to get more info about what actually needs fixing would be super helpful!

I’ve had the same issue on a few products as well as on 1 of my logo sizes. They keep rejecting, no matter how many times I correct what they said the issue was.

Hello CV Treasures, thank you for question and welcome to the Shopify AMA. I’m your host Emmanuel from FeedArmy.

Most likely the issue is not blurry scans, but invalid details.

First make sure that the business details in Google Merchant Center, match your submitted documents.

Make sure your government issued information matches.

Make sure your website has the same exact info in the footer, contact page, and anywhere where you mention your business details.

Also ensure any linked account and Google accounts have the same info.

Essentially, ensure everything is the same.

Also ensure you, the person created the account, and not someone else. I see a lot of merchants setup an account by an agency.

Or even in a different country, all of this can cause issues.
