Google Merchant suspended due to checkout issue - help!

hi all, i’ve had an issue with google suspending my Google Merchant Account and shopping ads.

my site is www.sunshinecoastplants.com.au

They have said there’s an issue with:
Violation of feed specification. Due to inconsistency between the landing page and checkout pages.

I can’t seem to replicate the issue. Any ideas on how to test and fix this?

Can you share the specific product URL in question provided by Google. If you don’t have it, go to GMC > products > and search for the product ID in question, click on the details and share that specific URL.

Most likely your structured data is incorrect.

thanks @EmmanuelFlossie the product url for what they tested is https://sunshinecoastplants.com.au/products/fraser-island-apple though they said this is one of many. I can’t seem to replicate the out of stock issue at checkout. Could it be related to shipping regions not being available for address they are testing? appreciate any insights you have.

If you do not allow shipping to the whole country, you must indeed setup regions. However generally if you want to use Google shopping an item must be available to the whole nation. If you don’t offer delivery to all locations, then google shopping is not a suitable option for you.

thanks @EmmanuelFlossie we’ve been using google shopping for the last 2 years with no issues. It’s just happened this week. We’re in Australia and we have regional availability allowed https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/9698880

I’ve gone through and setup every postcode we deliver to in merchant centre and google has still said same issue exists. have you seen this issue before? appreciate any other info you might be able to share

So originally, Google requires a merchant to allow an item to be purchased and delivered to the whole country.

Now, I do not know if the regional availability and pricing, is designed to skip this rule. I don’t believe it is. In my opinion, and my personal understanding, it is simply to assign a different price or availability per region. In other words it’s designed for merchants with multiple warehouses, where one region may have a more expensive stocking, and thus pricing. and or where one region has no stock, compared to another region.

It is not designed, in my opinion, to skip requiring to deliver to the whole nation.

Best to reach out to Google and ask if you are required to ship to the whole nation or not.
