Google misrepresentation on shopify website

Hi!

I’m reaching out to share a frustrating experience we’ve been encountering with Google reviews regarding their Misrepresentation Policy. Despite multiple attempts, this is now our fifth time requesting a review, and each time, it gets rejected.

We’ve gone to great lengths to address any potential issues. We’ve endured a month-long cooldown period, invested in a new template, and even revamped our webshop policies to ensure compliance. Despite all these efforts, we’re still facing rejection.

At this point, we’re at a loss for what else to do. Has anyone else encountered a similar situation or have any advice on how to resolve this issue? Any insights or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Hello NicheFrag

Did you setup your website and GMC according to google merchant center documentation?

I can’t see any issues, of course this is just with a quick scan on the website, but I would say the issue is related to trust, meaning not enough reviews.

Dont know if this could be it?

i was missing payment logo’s in the foooter.

through shopify reports i noticed a visitor “from google” was visiting the shipping policy page. Checked that page and i had some errors in the mail that was listed there. Corrected that to and asked for a review. Hope this works..

Payment logos, used to be a requirement, then not, and then somewhat required. So It’s best to add it, yes.

SOLVED! Looks like it was the payment logo
