I am a new Shopify owner and I went through the tutorial to get everything up and running. So far so good!
But I linked to the Google Search Console and things are not going as well.
I see that the domain property is showing as “mydomain.com”, but then I see an item underneath it which says “https://mydomain.com/”. ← trailing slash
I do notice that if I set “mydomain.com” as the account and look at Coverage, the Details section has two items:

excluded: duplicate without user-selected canonical

valid: indexed, not submitted in sitemap
Is this a big deal? I don’t see this issue with other websites I own and have in Google Search Console.
